Andreas Oplatka (Budapest, 1942) journalist, university lecturer, literary translator. Emigrated to Switzerland in 1956 and wrote for the foreign affairs column of the Neue Zürcher Zeitung. Translated 19th and 20th century Hungarian writers into German. Main titles: Hat Gorbatschow eine Chance?
