Endre Mányoki (1954, Budapest) writer, critic, teacher was one of the Editors of the legendary rebellious cultural monthly Mozgó Világ (1978–1983) until its closure by the Communist authorities. Subsequently he worked in other editorial positions on national publications (Kortárs, Hitel, Magyar Nemzet, Mai Magyarország), and was a Director of the Hungarian Press Agency in 2000–2003. He has been teaching at the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts since 1992, and has published several collections of essays and stories.
