James P. Kelly, III is President of Solidarity Center for Law and Justice, an international human rights law firm based in Atlanta, Georgia. Since 2005, he has represented the Washington, DC-based Federalist Society for Law and Public Policies as its Director of International Affairs. He is the also the Founder and Director of the Federalist Society’s Global Governance Watch project, which monitors the impact of global and transnational governance on national sovereignty. From 2005 to 2008, he served as Chairman of the Social and Human Sciences Committee of the US National Commission to UNESCO. In 2005, the National Catholic Register designated his book: Christianity, Democracy, and the American Ideal, as one of the year’s best books.
