KATALIN KESERÜ (1946, Pécs), art historian. Her field of research includes 19th century art, the art of the turn of the century, and contemporary art. She has curated numerous exhibitions and teaches as a member of the faculty in the Institute of Art History at the Eötvös Loránd University. Her most significant publications include monographs on artists such as Aladár Körösfői-Kriesch (1977), József Rippl-Rónai (1982), Soma Orlai Petrics (1984), Sándor Kígyós (1989), Amrita Sher-Gil (2001), and Toroczkai Wigand Ede (2007). She has also written on the artist colony of Gödöllő (1987), variations in pop-art (1994), and the art of the turn of the century (2007).
