Lívia Járóka

Járóka Lívia (Tata, 1974) is a social anthropologist and Member of the European Parliament since 2003. In 2006, she won the award of “Member of the European Parliament of the Year” in the category of Justice and Fundamental Rights. Currently, she is the Vice-Chairwoman of the Committee on Women’s Rights and Gender Equality, and rapporteur of “The EU strategy on the social inclusion of Roma” appointed by the Committee on Civil Liberties Justice and Home Affairs.
